I'm sorry I didn't post anything yesterday it was a busy day- I babysat my friend's kids till 4:30 and we left right away to go to a birthday party at an ice rink- then had to go to the lawyers to sell this house and picked up the kids at the in-laws came home- helped Matt finished his packing and cried and went to bed.
It's here the day Matt and his dad leave. As someone commented watch out for those Canadians in the States who went black Friday shopping!!! I am pretty emotional today...boo. Cried a couple times already.
Well on a good note- John is having a sleep-over with his wife to be tonight. I figured it's one of our last nights here- lets make it fun. I think we will all sleep in the basement- I will set up the playpen for little miss and the kids can sleep on the little couches. We will rent a movie and probably pick up something to eat as i hate to cook lately.
I am sure the 2 of them talking will have me laughing pretty hard. They usually have a couple great lines when we do get together. 4 or 5 more sleeps at this house!! If the movers pack up the beds and all the TVs i will be going to sleep at my in-laws and we will be moved in- However if they leave me the beds and 1 TV i will stay here with the kids for the last night. So we will see. When we moved out of Waterford, they did keep the beds and TVs intact- however it was weird having NOTHING else to do...I had told Matt to stay at his parents cause there was literally nothing but boxes to look at!
John and Matt are playing Lego's downstairs. Laura is going back and forth from mommy and daddy. John is paranoid every time Matt goes outside that he left without saying bye. Matt reassured him that he will say bye when he does leave for Alberta with Papa.
I hope they have good weather the whole way and that they travel safe.
my dear Chloe - it will be ok and you have such great kids that the two weeks Matt is gone they will entertain you and he will be back sooner then you realize. Love you loads and anxious to see you guys on the 24th. xxoo
