I did my part

So I finally finished packing my suitcase and backpack- I did it..i managed to get clothes in there for the 3 of us.  I do have an extra suitcase that i put the Christmas gift we are giving away in and their snow pants.  (It's not a huge one like the one i had for the kids and I)  But I did it!!

Matt and his dad got to Moose Jaw last night- I am guessing there was no problem at the border-  The booze is now in Canada.....all 30 bottles of wine and the other stuff too!  Today is the last day i can do laundry as my washer will be out of commission as of tomorrow....OH DARN!! lol 

Yesterday the kids and I skyped with my mom, aunt, grandma and cousin and her bf.  John was hilarious trying to read us a story but we couldn't stop laughing- BE WARNED- I packed the book so you might get read to in Sudbury!!! HAHAHAHAHA

When I told the kids to say bye- Laura actually said it.....and again today at playgroup and last night to daddy on the phone!!  it sounds more like BUUUUUUHHHH... but it's great!!! same sound every time she says it!!! 

John woke me up 2 minutes before the alarm went off to get him up--- BONUS!!  But as he was eating breakfast he tells me " mommy i have to miss school!"  I answered "no you don't your fine you didn't hurt yourself like last week- you are going to school mister:"  "but mommy I can't go to school- i have the hiccups..."  So he misses one day last week and now he doesn't want to go?  He loves school once he's there.  The teacher told Matt that John has a perma smile and it doesn't go away. 

He sure will miss his friends that he's made at school.  I was laughing because up until we left for Alberta, all he talked about was BUTTS.  Because he learnt it from a friend at school.  Butt this butt that...My turkey has a butt, a circle butt- but my friend he but a rectangle but on his turkey (it was a craft they made at thanksgiving with school)  And by the way girls don't have butts, just boys.....I tried to correct him on that but decided he'll learn. lol

Night 3 tonight with no hubby- It's not as bad as I thought- the kids have been amazing.  Tomorrow we are going for lunch at my friends house. I can't wait to see her, her belly and her daughter.
